Physiotherapy, also known as physical therapy, is a healthcare discipline that focuses on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions, which are disorders that affect the muscles, bones, joints, and connective tissues of the body.

Physiotherapists use a combination of manual techniques, exercise therapy, and other specialized treatments to help patients regain movement, reduce pain, and restore function to the affected areas of their body. Physiotherapy can be helpful for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including back pain, neck pain, joint injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Physiotherapy treatment plans are typically customized to meet the specific needs of each patient, taking into account their individual goals, lifestyle, and overall health status. By working with a physiotherapist, patients can improve their overall health and wellbeing, and achieve a better quality of life.
